Our Mission
At Wild Galicia, our intention is to acquire land that is currently used for eucalyptus forestry and regenerate it with the native plants of Northern Spain.
Eucalyptus plantations pose several significant challenges to our ecosystem:
- Increased fire risk in the region
- Excessive water consumption from local sources
- Suppression of indigenous biodiversity
Through careful management and stewardship, we can transform these areas into beautiful food forests that will benefit generations to come.
